Stuff to Bring To the Party
Some Sort of Food to Share...
Friends, Family, Puppies, and/or Children
(and Sunshine, too)
Your Own Adult Beverages
As you may well have already read, we'll be serving a variety of beverages that can be made by adding powder to water in large pitchers. Plus, water. Likely, not much else.
So. If you want to consume other beverages during the party, please bring them. :) And enjoy them responsibly.
Also. I'll have a cooler or two with ice available for BYO purposes. But if you wanted to BYO little cooler, that'd be very responsible of you. :)

.... But Only If You Want To. :)
You're very welcome to bring none, too.
We'll have plenty.... for serious.
Food Ideas (should you choose to accept)
-
Sides that go well with grilled chicken, burgers, etc
-
Like vegetables, or potato salad, or bean dip, or.... whatever you want.
-
-
Dessert type things (not to be confused with desert things)
-
Pretty sure you're already aware as to what qualifies as "Dessert"
-
-
Homemade gets Bonus Points
-
Plus admiration from your fellow party-ers....
-
-
Reminder: You're also welcome to just Show Up
-
And though it's not your party, you can still cry if you want to.
-
Make new friends, [and] keep the old.
One is silver, and the other, gold.
Important: Since you're going to be making a lot of new friends at Half Birthday Party, you should bring your current friends with you so they don't feel left out. But if any of your friends aren't able to join you (us), then here's a [n ok, maybe not necessarily the most] useful webpage to help you thrive relationally.
Also Important: All puppies you bring need to also leave. But they're welcome to stay as long as you do. Unless they're mean. Then they need to sit in the TimeOut Corner until they're ready to play nice.
Oh, and-- yes, this is both a children-friendly and family-friendly event! And while most people prefer friendly children to the non-friendly type, and families even more so, friendliness is not mandatory.... But the point is.... BYO children. Unless you don't want to. But if you're bringing someone else's children, you should probably get permission first.
